MPs- members of the parliamentary Committee on Health, debated for more than two and a half hours on just one amendment submitted to the amendments to the Law on Protection of Population from Infectious Diseases. MPs from the ruling majority submitted five amendments to this Law, which is being adopted in a shortened procedure and whose changes are related to the measures for dealing with the coronavirus, and there are also amendments submitted by the Alliance of the Albanians and Alternativa.
The debate of the Committee, in which both the government and the opposition entered the debate on dealing with the coronavirus and the reasons for the increased number of deaths and infected persons, is expected to continue after a half-hour break due to complying to the protocols for prevention against Covid-19.

Parliament yesterday within the 19th session, with 70 votes “for”, adopted the Law on Prevention and Protection against Discrimination.
President of Inspection Council, Magdalena Filipovska-Grashkoska, at today’s press conference said that so far a total of 3,959 controls have been carried out, of which 1,436 are inspection supervision.
Ministry of Education and Science has withdrawn a fifth grade Macedonian Language textbook, due to stereotypical and discriminatory content.
