NEWS OF THE DAY: CIVIL panel discussion: “Social justice and discrimination” and “Census: Between politics and statistics”
CIVIL, within the framework of the Freedom Festival, organized two panel discussions. The first titled “Social justice and discrimination: Too many people on the margins of society and politics… Until when?”, while the second one titled “Census: Between politics and statistics”.
The first panel discussion included speakers Mirjana Najcevska, university professor, Elis Shaqiri from Romalitiko and the AVAJA initiative and Ljuljeta Ademi, activist and Disability Advisor to President Pendarovski. The panel discussion was moderated by Dehran Muratov.
The second panel discussion was held with physical presence of participants, by strictly complying to the Covid-19 protection protocols. Participants in the panel included Donco Gerasimovski, former director of the State Statistical Office, Apostol Simovski, current director of the State Statistical Office and Xhabir Deralla from CIVIL. The panel discussion was moderated by Diana Tahiri from CIVIL.

The State Election Commission informed that until 2.00pm all registered persons positive to Covid-19 or in self-isolation have realized their right to vote at the early elections for Mayor of the Municipality of Stip and the Municipality of Plasnica.
