NEWS OF THE DAY: Process of immunization begins
The process of immunization today started with the vaccination of the first health care workers from the Clinic for Infectious Diseases and Febrile Conditions. Following the start of the vaccination, Minister of Health Venko Filipce outlined that the vaccines are safe, with developed safe platforms and that they are the only way for developing collective immunity.
“I do not want to take up a vaccine from these initial doses, which really are intended for colleagues who are directly working with patients, though I will for sure get vaccinated with the next supplies of vaccines that will arrive, in order to show citizens that this is what they should do”, added Filipce.
STATEMENT OF THE DAY: Zaev: Organ donation is the highest act of humanity
Prime Minister Zoran Zaev today, through a video address, sent a message to all citizens on the importance of organ and tissue donation as a way of saving lives. Zaev said that organ donation is the highest act of humanity. And he personally, as he says, is prepared for such an act, for which he has spoken with his family.

Minister of Defence Radmila Sekerinska today participated in the meeting of the NATO North Atlantic Council at the level of defence ministers, via a secure video conference. At the first working session, Sekerinska presented the views of our country and supported the proposals of Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg related to the NATO 2020 Initiative, which has the goal to strengthen the Alliance both militarily and politically.
National Coordinator for interculturalism, one society, cultural development and inter-sector cooperation, Robert Alagjozovski, today with representatives of the Roma community involved in institutions of the local and central government, as well as members of civil society organizations, discussed several current topics, among which the importance of conducting a successful 2021 census, in the direction of the government efforts for realizing the National Strategy for Development of the Concept One Society and Interculturalism 2020-2022 and the Action Plan.
