The parliamentary parties today again remained in their positions regarding the possibility for MPs infected with COVID-19 or in isolation, with a decision, to be able to participate online in sessions and working bodies – the ruling parties want the proposal for amending the Rules of Procedure to be voted on and consider it necessary, the opposition that it is unconstitutional and that 62 MPs are not enough for a functioning Parliament.
President of Parliament Talat Xhaferi submitted a proposal for amending the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament that will enable MPs infected with COVID-19 or in self-isolation to participate online in decision-making at plenary sessions and sessions of the working bodies.
