North Macedonia registered 2,269 new COVID-19 infections after 7,038 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, as well as 13 deaths and 1,420 recoveries, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
1.420 recovered patients were registered in: Skopje – 790, Bitola – 124, Prilep – 86, Ohrid – 76, Kavadarci – 40, Kumanovo – 27, Stip – 26, Strumica – 23, Gevgelija, Veles and Kicevo – 22 each, Resen and Negotino – 15 each. Valandovo – 14, Tetovo – 13, Kocani – 12, Delchevo – 11, Struga – 10, Gostivar – 9, Radovish – 8, Kriva Palanka, Sveti Nikole, Krushevo and Makedonski Brod – 7 each, Probistip – 5, Demir Hisar and Vinica – 4 each, Makedonska Kamenica and Pehchevo – 3 each, Berovo, Bogdanci and Demir Kapija – 2 each, Dojran and Debar – 1 each.
Over the past 24 hours 13 deaths were registered: 5 persons from Skopje (64, 66, 68, 79 and 82), 3 from Strumica (58, 61 and 66), 2 from Kavadarci (52 and 87) and one deceased from Kumanovo (73), Struga ( 77d) and Ohrid (54d). The reported persons died in hospital.
According to the Register of Deaths with Diagnosis KOVID-19 from Moj Termin, 11 deaths were reported from Gevgelija (4), Strumica (2), Struga (2), Kicevo (2) and Bogdanci (1) died in the period from 03-16.01.2022. The dead are aged 47 to 87. Of the reported cases, 3 died at home and 8 are in hospital.

So far, a total of 1.717.482 Covid-19 tests have been performed in the country.
The total number of KOVID-diagnosed persons in our country since the beginning of the epidemic is 247.663, the number of recovered patients is 222.306, the number of deaths is 8.139, and the number of active cases is 17.218.
