The Skopje-based Appellate Court has cancelled the house arrest of former government secretary general Dragi Rashkovski in the case related to the procurement of traffic control software.
The court has accepted a guarantee of nearly EUR 193,000 in property. Rashkovski is now obliged to report to the court on the first Monday of every month and his passport has been seized.
According to the decision, the precautionary measures will be valid as long as they are necessary and the court will reassess their duration in a two-month interval.
