A government delegation led by Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski starting from today is in an official visit to Bulgaria, where tomorrow a joint session of the governments of the Republic of North Macedonia and of the Republic of Bulgaria will be held.
The official government delegation of the Republic of North Macedonia, apart from Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski, includes Artan Grubi, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Political System and Inter-Community Relations, Fatmir Bytyqi, Deputy Prime Minister in charge of economic affairs and coordination of economic sectors, Deputy Prime Minister in charge of good governance Slavica Grkova, Bujar Osmani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fatmir Besimi, Minister of Finance, Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi, Ljupco Nikolovski, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy, Jeton Shaqiri, Minister of Education and Science, Goran Milevski, Minister of Local Self-Government, Minister of Culture Bisera Kostadinovska-Stojcevska, Blagoj Bochvarski, Minister of Transport and Communications, Naser Nuredini, Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Admirim Aliti, Minister of Information Society and Administration, Martin Popov, Chief of Cabinet of the Prime Minister and Edmond Ademi, Foreign Affairs Advisor to the Prime Minister.
During the visit, several bilateral documents are planned to be signed, after which the two prime ministers will hold a press conference.
The joint session comes after last week’s official visit of Bulgarian Prime Minister Petkov to Skopje, when the forming of working groups of both sides was agreed, which are to work intensively on overcoming misunderstandings and on intensifying cooperation between the two countries.
