CIVIL organizes a public event entitled “European values - (im)possible mission: Equality, non-discrimination and multiculturalism through the prism of policies and practices at the national level” on May 26, (Wednesday), at the Park Residence Hotel (New York Hall), starting at 1 p.m. The event will last 60 minutes.
Participants in the event will be Deputy Prime Minister Artan Grubi and National Co-ordinator for Interculturalism Robert Alagjozovski. The moderator of the event will be Xhabir Deralla from CIVIL.
The main issue of the panel discussion refers to the opportunities, policies and practices at the national level in promoting European values, and within that framework equality, non-discrimination and multiculturalism in the country.
Furthermore, we will address whether and to what extent the Ohrid Agreement has been implemented in the past 20 years, as well as how and to what extent the Strategy “One Society for All” is being implemented.
The event will be broadcast live on the Facebook page and video channel of CIVIL, and the presence of TV crews is welcome, with strict adherence to the protocols for protection against Covid-19.
All materials from the event will be available in Macedonian, Albanian and English.
The panel is part of the project “European Perspectives” which CIVIL is implementing with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany from April 1 this year.
