“The Civic Charter – How will I benefit?“ is a pilot project through which CIVIL – Center for Freedom will promote the Civic Charter and will explore opportunities for cross-sectoral cooperation and partnerships.

The project was launched on February 1 and will last 60 days. The goal of the projects is for stakeholders in civil society, local and central government, the media, business communities and political parties to learn about the contents of the Civic Charter, and to discuss about the adoption and use of this document, as well as about the opportunities for a joint cooperation and partnership.

CIVIL will hold workshops with 2-3 representatives of each target group in Skopje and the Kumanovo-Lipkovo region. At the end of the pilot project, a mini-conference will be held, at which representatives of the Government and Parliament, the media and the wider public will be invited. CIVIL Media’s team will be producing more media contents on the popularization of the Civic Charter as well.

The Civic Charter will furthermore be promoted through information stands, and a brochure with the Civic Charter will also be printed in all the languages that are spoken in the country. The project is supported by the International Civil Society Centre.
