CIVIL – Center for Freedom will host a press conference on Monday, March 18, starting at 11 am, to present its findings and assessments derived from the extensive monitoring of North Macedonia’s election process. The press conference will be held at the organization’s press center located on the 3rd floor of the Business Center Paloma Bianca.
“During the press conference, our representatives will address several key issues. We will provide an in-depth assessment of the recent changes to the Electoral Code and their impact on the overall quality of the election process. Additionally, we will present a comprehensive report on disinformation and propaganda narratives, along with an analysis of the use of hate speech in public communications”, CIVIL announces.
Furthermore, CIVIL will issue several recommendations, focusing on the imperative to uphold voters’ rights and prevent the exploitation of children and minors for political purposes.
CIVIL invites both in-person attendance and virtual participation. The press conference will be live-streamed on the organization’s Facebook profile and YouTube channel. Questions can be submitted via email or messenger up to one hour before the event.
