CIVIL has opened a call for applying for 2021 local elections observers. The organization is calling its members, supporters and participants of seminars on citizen journalism, observers of previous election processes, as well as all interested citizens to apply for short-term election observers. The call at this phase is open until midnight June 30.
CIVIL’s monitoring implies mobility, dedication and impartiality. The short-term observers are active during the election silence, on election day and a day after the voting.
Four of the candidates who have applied will be selected as long-term observers, and will join CIVIL’s existing monitoring team.
Members of teams of international or domestic observation missions, party officials and activists involved in the election campaign, as well as election candidates, do not have the right to participate in this call.
