In its capacity as a dedicated human rights organization, CIVIL unequivocally condemns the recent act of aggression perpetrated by Russian forces against the civilian population of Ukraine. We express our unwavering solidarity with President Zelensky and the resilient and brave Ukrainian nation during these challenging times.

The ongoing missile attacks constitute a grave threat to the safety and well-being of innocent civilians, and CIVIL urgently calls for an immediate cessation of this utterly reprehensible missile terror. This unprovoked aggression demands the attention and united efforts of the international community to bring about a swift end of the Russian aggression against the peaceful and sovereign Ukrainian nation.

CIVIL recognizes the critical need for enhanced support to Ukraine in both economic and military dimensions. We appeal to the global public, domestic and international institutions and governments, and all relevant stakeholders to intensify their assistance to Ukraine. In particular, we emphasize the urgency of providing essential resources such as ammunition and advanced air defense systems to bolster Ukraine’s ability to defend itself against the Russian aggression.

Furthermore, CIVIL underscores the importance of financial aid to ensure the basic functioning of Ukraine, which has endured the harsh reality of a genocidal military invasion for the past two years. The economic stability and well-being of the Ukrainian people hinge on immediate and substantial assistance to mitigate the impact of this prolonged conflict.

As advocates for human rights, CIVIL calls on the international community to rally behind Ukraine in its quest for freedom, peace, stability, and the protection of its citizens. We stand firm in our commitment to championing the principles of justice, equality, and the right to live free from violence and oppression.

Now, more than ever, it is crucial that the world unites to condemn acts of aggression and work collectively towards a lasting resolution that respects the sovereignty and dignity of the Ukrainian people. CIVIL remains resolute in its mission to uphold human rights and promote a world where peace and justice prevail.
