CIVIL, as an organization for human rights and freedoms, continuously monitors social and political processes, as well as disinformation and hate speech. The organization strongly condemns all forms of creating and spreading disinformation and hatred on any grounds and in any way.
“Persons holding public office or in responsible positions in society or in the administration, public figures and politicians have the obligation to be especially careful in their public appearances, regardless of whether it is a matter of a private profile on the social media or other type of public communication” – stated today CIVIL.
The organization has long experience in monitoring black propaganda and abuse of freedom of speech that have the purpose to place manipulations, disinformation and hate speech in the media and on the social networks.
Hence, the attempts to discredit the organizations are obvious and the calls on the social networks for individual cases of hate speech that come precisely from groups that are known for creating and spreading black propaganda.
CIVIL calls on all citizens to report disinformation and hate speech through the online Citizens application, as well as in direct communication with the organization.
