Before New Year’s eve and holidays, CIVIL  appeals to all citizens in the country to celebrate safely, without using pyrotechnic materials, firecrackers, and weapons.

Before the holidays, CIVIL reminds that the celebratory shooting is forbidden by law and is extremely dangerous. There are many examples of tragic endings of celebrations and festivities when a stray bullet killed or injured a participant in the celebration. No matter how much you think you have mastered the weapons, keep in mind that even the greatest professionals make mistakes.

One of the slogans of CIVIL in the past years is: Do not be amazed by the “weapons experts” – you will outlive them!

Pyrotechnic materials are dangerous for our health and life. One CIVIL handbook on educating children and young people about safe action states: “Firecrackers and explosives, as well as weapons, are dangerous and often cause tragedy even in the ranks of professionals whose job is dealing with explosives and weapons. ”

Children are the most common victims of trauma, injury, and even tragedy, due to negligent handling and misuse of weapons and pyrotechnic materials. When reckless persons misuse firearms, responsible parents should tell their children three simple safety rules: stay away from firearms, do not touch weapons or pyrotechnic materials, and report illegal use of firearms. These safety rules, of course, apply to adults as well.
