Special Adviser to the Prime Minister, Marjan Zabrcanec, Mayor of Kumanovo, Maksim Dimitrievski, International Civil Society Centre (Berlin, Germany) representative, Brandy Geurking, CIVIL representatives Maja Ivanovska, Sinisa Stankovic and Xhabir Deralla, human rights activist Jasmina Golubovska and Vanco Ordanoski of the business community are part of the speakers at the Conference “Civic Charter – The Global Framework for People’s Participation”, which will be held tomorrow (March 28, 2018) at City Park Hotel, starting at 13h.
The Conference is a unique opportunity for the public to learn more about the CIVIC CHARTER and the possibilities for cross-sectoral cooperation and partnerships. CIVIL and the Berlin based International Civil Society Centre, will present their standpoints and the opportunities for cooperation between civil society, local and central government, media, business communities, political parties and other stakeholders and decision-making structures in the country.
Representatives of the Government, local government and parliament, as well as of civil society and the business community are invited as speakers.
CIVIC CHARTER – What’s in it for me? is a pilot project through which CIVIL continues to promote the Civic Charter in an innovative way. This includes exploration of possibilities for establishing cross-sectoral cooperation and partnerships for adoption and consistent implementation of the Civic Charter.
One of the project’s goals is to sensitize the civil society stakeholders, local and central governments, media, business communities and political parties about the Civic Charter, and discuss modules of adoption and use of this document, as well as possibilities for cooperation and partnerships.
