Every working day at 12 noon, the CIVILians through info stands will be promoting, and at the same, will be informing the citizens about the organization’s project activities. CIVIL – Center for Freedom, today, promoted the projects “Free Societies” and “Action – Integration”, where citizens had the opportunity to learn about the organization’s work and share their views with the team.
As to the question of CIVIL Media on what they think about the name proposal – Republika Ilindenska Makedonija, the citizens responded: “No chance, only Republic of Macedonia!”, “I think there is going to be a problem with Bulgaria, they consider it to be a Bulgarian uprising”, “Macedonia is a divine country and divine people!”. There were also citizens who liked the proposal – “Something wonderful, something most pleasing!”, says one citizen.
Stip has been struggling with its traffic regulation for some time. Despite the attempt to solve parking problems, the sidewalks still remain the ideal solution for drivers. A citizen journalist from Stip used the initiative #IDemandAnAnswer to address the local government
for it to take measures for traffic safety. “It is time that the competent bodies for the city took appropriate measures. I demand an answer from you as to how we the pedestrians can safely walk on the sidewalks throughout Stip?”, asked the citizen journalist and demanded an answer.
The Greek Supreme Court rejected the request of the Macedonian Ministry of Justice for the extradition of Goran Grujevski and Nikola Boskovski. Both of them remain in Greece and in the meanwhile will be released from prison.
President of Parliament Talat Xhaferi from Ohrid, stressed that talks within the “Jean Monnet” process are being carried out in a constructive, working atmosphere, with a consensual position of the participants in regards to the need of regulating the relations in the Assembly. The “Jean Monnet Dialogue” process was initiated by MEPs Ivo Vajgl, Knut Fleckenstein and Eduard Kukan.
