Circular Economy Week 2025 officially starts today, May 26, and will last until June 1, in all the Western Balkan countries. The initiative brings together a series of activities and events organized by the partners of LogEx across the region. This year’s theme is “From Local Fixes to Regional Impact”.
Green CIVIL – an organizational unit of CIVIL – Center for Freedom – is starting the Circular Economy Week with media contributions featuring educational texts and examples of business models based on the five basic principles of circular economy: Rethink, Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, and Recyclе.
Green CIVIL will hold a regional online conference “Give Me Five for a Better Future!”, on Thursday, May 29, starting at 12.00 pm, which will be attended by representatives, experts and civic activists from the region. The conference will be broadcast live on CIVIL’s YouTube and Facebook profiles.
Under the slogan “Give Me Five!”, Green CIVIL’s activities focus on strengthening public awareness, but also on initiatives for political dialogue and visibility of circular economy practices. CIVIL will also participate with a rich media production in the “Circular Economy Week”, by involving stakeholders and a presentation of best practices for the promotion of the circular economy, with the participation of decision-makers, experts, practitioners and civil society.
