Chief Public Prosecutor Ljubomir Joveski has received death threat concerning a case, closed in December 2021. The death threat, written in both Macedonian and English, was sent by “a terrorist organization fighting against and killing for injustice,” said the Public Prosecutor’s Office on Thursday.
– The Public Prosecutor of the Republic of North Macedonia informs the public that yesterday, through a registered shipment sent by the Post Office Bitola on January 17, 2022 at 10:26, he received a death threat. The letter is written in both, Macedonian and English. The threat refers to a specific case closed in December 2021n The threat, as stated in the letters, is from a terrorist organization that fights and kills for injustice and its members are ready to die for the purposes of the organization, the Public Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement.
The Prosecutor’s Office announces that the letter will be submitted to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for examination of the content of the allegations and finding the person who sent it.
