Schools won’t close. According to latest reports on students attending in-person classes, only 35 of them, along with some 60 teachers got infected, which is a better number than at the end of the first semester, Minister of Education and Science Mila Carovska said in response to a reporter asking if the government was considering any new restrictions given the increase in Covid-19 cases in the country.
“All protocols are being implemented,” Minister Carovska said. “We don’t have an internal spread of the disease, so [the situation] is stable.”
For now, Carovska added, no other restrictions were being considered regarding schools.
