Bulgaria and North Macedonia failed to reach an agreement on the price of the electricity that the Bulgarian producers will export to Skopje, BNR reported.
According to MIA’s Sofia correspondent, working group of North Macedonia paid a visit to Sofia. The meeting was attended by ESM Director Vasko Kovachevski, MEPSO Director Orhan Murtezani and Viktor Andonov, advisor to PM Dimitar Kovachevski.
At the meeting, no agreement was reached on the price and costs of electricity transport. Working groups are set to meet next week in an effort to conclude an energy supply agreement.
Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski held Sep. 5 a meeting with the Bulgarian Caretaker Prime Minister Galab Donev and agreed to export 200 megawatts hours of electricity from Bulgaria to North Macedonia, MIA’s Sofia correspondent said.
