Vlado Buchkovski, the Government’s Special Representative for Bulgaria, is to start his first official visit to Sofia on Wednesday.
Bulgaria’s Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva will welcome on Wednesday North Macedonia’s Special Representative Buchkovski, the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
After the meeting, Zaharieva and Buchkovski will hold a press conference at the Ministry.
According to Bulgarian media outlets, during his visit to Sofia, Buchkovski will also meet with Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and with Defense Minister Krasimir Karakachanov. On Thursday, Buchkovski is set to meet with Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev.
University professor and former prime minister Vlado Buchkovski was appointed by the Government last week Special Representative for Bulgaria.
