Following the intergovernmental conference in Brussels on Tuesday afternoon, a cocktail party was held to celebrate the start of North Macedonia’s and Albania’s accession negotiations with the EU, transmits news agency MIA. In the presence of Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and European Commissioner Olivér Várhelyi, three cakes – decorated with the flags of the EU, North Macedonia, and Albania — were served at the party.
