Bulgarian PM Boyko Borisov expressed Tuesday hope that next year a common solution for continuation of North Macedonia’s EU integration process will be found.
Borisov said this during Bulgarian Government session at which it was decided certain amount of the batches of COVID-19 vaccines arriving in Bulgaria to be intended to North Macedonia as a donation.
North Macedonia’s Health Minister Venko Filipche took part in government session at the invitation of Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and Health Minister Kostadin Angelov.
“We’re doing this out of the goodness of our heart and have no hidden agenda. I hope that next year, we’ll find a solution with Zaharieva and Karakachanov regarding North Macedonia’s EU integration,” Bulgarian PM Borisov told the government session.
Borisov also wrote about this decision on his Facebook profile, saying that Bulgaria is ready to help and supply the Western Balkans region with COVID-19 vaccines.
He wrote on Facebook that Minister Filipche was also present at the session, who, as Borisov pointed out, expressed gratitude for the support in these difficult times.
