US President Joe Biden and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz have come together for a bilateral meeting ahead of the G7 summit taking place in Bavaria’s Schloss Elmau resort, transmits MIA.
“I think we can get through all this and come out stronger,” Biden said in reference to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and their countries’ joint response to the conflict.
“Something that (Russian President Vladimir) Putin has been counting on from the beginning is that NATO and G7 would splinter, but we are not going to – so thank you,” Biden told Scholz.
