In a powerful reflection marking the fourth anniversary of the LogEx initiative, Gazmend Berlajolli, Executive Director of the Balkan Forum in Kosovo, addressed partners and stakeholders during the online event “Give Me Five”, organized by GREEN Civil, celebrating four years of collaboration, learning, and action for circular economy in the Western Balkans.
„Four years or less than four years ago when we started uh you know so we started with a very simple idea but I think it was powerful idea because what we aimed at that time back in 2021 was to bring you know like-minded people like-minded organizations from academia, business world, diaspora, to bring together and see how we can bring you know value to our communities to the places where we live.
And this was basically the idea when we started. Here we are today marking the fourth annual year of a small group that established in 2021 in December in Budva Montenegro. During these years there were challenges. Some people left, some organizations left but new organizations join. What is most important is that the Logex stood together and you know that is basically thanks to you from your good work, willingness, desires“, said Berlajolli.
In total, over the past four years we’ve held 38 activities, engaged more than 2,000 people directly and reached up to 1.8 million people through media and outreach, emphasized Berlajolli.
