Following a proposal from the Ministry of Economy, the Government decided at a session Thursday to set the highest trade margin of oak firewood, beech firewood and pellets at a maximum of 10 percent, announced Minister of Economy, Kreshnik Bekteshi, transmits MIA.
“The trade margin of up to 10 percent for these goods applies to all trade companies and sole traders who participate in the trade chain in retail, the transport for the delivery of goods to the final consumers is not calculated in the trade margin,” said Bekteshi.
The reason for the trade margin restriction, he added, is based on aligning the differences in prices present in retail trade, more specifically in the sale of firewood and pellets.
