Economy Minister Kreshnik Bekteshi met Monday with Albania’s Minister of Tourism and Environment Mirela Kumbaro, discussing the importance of cooperation in the tourism field that has been increasing by the year, MIA transmits.
“The number of Albanian tourists visiting North Macedonia in 2021 increased by 67 percent compared to the previous year. The two countries are committed to the enhancement of mutual cooperation in the tourism sector,” said Minister Bekteshi, who is paying a visit to Albania.
Bekteshi noted that countries should better acquaint with the respective tourism potentials but also exchange staff and experts, host seminars and enrich the tourism offer, the Ministry of Economy said in a press release.
