NEWS OF THE DAY: EMPLOYEES IN SPO SEARCHED
Special Public Prosecutor Katica Janeva today ordered for all employees in the SPO to be searched.
While Janeva through her press-service denied all findings, prosecutor Fatima Fetai in a statement for TV24 confirmed the speculations. Fetai, today, fiercely opposed such a decision by her boss, after she was stopped by an official at the entrance of the SPO.
According to information of the SPO, the same had been told to another prosecutor who had come to work this morning.
INVESTIGATION ON “RACKET” CASE IS EXPANDING
After some of the prosecutors of the Special Prosecutor’s Office have been interrogated, today the chief of cabinet of Special Public Prosecutor Katica Janeva has also been questioned.
The hearing of public prosecutor Burim Rustemi, which was foreseen for today, has been postponed for tomorrow, due to today’s hearing on the “TNT” case, where Rustemi is the prosecutor.
Even though for several days there have been speculations as to when Janeva will give a statement in the Prosecutor’s Office for organized crime and corruption, to this moment it is still not known when this will take place.
So far, special prosecutors Lile Stefanova and Elizabeta Josifovska have been questioned.
