The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are focused on ensuring the distribution of agriculture projects that were bound for export to Russia and Ukraine, said Government Spokesperson Dushko Arsovski on Wednesday, reports MIA.
Arsovski told a press conference that all diplomatic-consular offices have been engaged in assisting the identification of alternative markets for these products.
“The Ministry of Agriculture is in communication with counterpart institutions in Europe and the region, chambers of commerce, economic partners, vegetable and fruit processors, towards maintaining stability of exports and continued distribution of agriculture products. All options are on the table. Amid this global economic crisis, it is important that we jointly look at all possible options for redirection of exports to other alternative markets,” said Arsovski.
