“When creating the strategy for a society, we saw the need to discourage hate speech and violent extremism,” said Robert Alagjozovski, National Coordinator for Interculturalism.
“There are very few practices in court practice, ie cases that have been convicted of hate crimes.
An example that the state has the strength and opportunities to deal with nationalism and hatred is the verdict on the April 27 violence in Parliament.
There are currently frequent sanctions for hate speech or hate crimes on social media.
“In cooperation with the AYS, it is planned to form a department to train police officers who will recognize and work with extremist groups and discourage them,” said Alagjozovski.
