“Most people in Bosnia and Herzegovina, of all ethnic groups, recognize themselves in the war that we had in our country and sympathize with what is happening in Ukraine, it reminds them of the negative images of the past from the war in the 90s, and it is because of this that they feel empathy towards the people who are suffering at the moment”, says Samir Agic from the Association COD from Jajce, BiH, who took part in the two-day conference of the “Logex“ network.
Talking about how the war in Ukraine affects the citizens of his country, precisely at a time when it was least expected for there to be another conflict in the world, Agic added that they would like to help for this madness to stop. Unlike politicians who are not interested in this issue, who do nothing to help resolve this conflict, but only give false support.
