The Assembly last night, after a five-day debate with 63 votes in favor, 36 against and no abstentions, adopted the Budget for next year.
The budget is projected at 4,4 billion denars. Total revenues are planned at the level of 238,9 billion denars or 30,9 percent of GDP, and expenditures are projected at the level of 272,4 billion denars, which is 1,4 percent more than this year. The deficit is planned at the level of Denar 33,5 billion or 4,3 percent of GDP and is lower by 2,2 percentage points compared to the estimated deficit in 2021. Denar 37,8 billion is envisaged for capital investments for next year, which is 27 percent more compared to 2021. The so-called “Golden rule in finance”, ie the budget deficit is lower than capital expenditures.
