Criminal charges for 51 people and 28 firms, a damage of over 8 billion denars
The financial police, from the start of the year, has filed 28 criminal charges against 51 people and 28 firms, and refer to suspicions for 48 crimes. The Director of the Financial Police, Arafat Muaremi, stated that the damage that has been made in these cases amounts to over 8 billion denars.
Director of MRTV took a loan without consent
One of the reports filed by the Financial Police is against the Director of the Macedonian Radio Television, Marjan Cvetkovski, for abuse of official position and authorization. The case refers to a loan of 140 million denars that he took from a domestic commercial bank.
As they informed from the Financial Police, he pledged the entire movable and immovable property in the amount of 294.459.822 denars, that is, 154.452.822 denars more than the value of the loan.
And he did all of this, according to the competent authorities, without acquiring the consent of the Assembly, which is the founder and owner of the public service. Thus, violating the Law on Public Enterprises.
Institute for Public Health “pardoned” debts of over 650.000 euros
The Director of the Public Health Institute, Saban Memeti, the Head of the Sector of Logistics and Financial-Law Matters and an Officer for payment of claims all “pardoned” debts that citizens and firms had towards this institution and caused damage of over 650.000 euros.
Criminal charges have been filed against three of them for not having done anything to collect the debts and invoices that many firms and individuals had towards the Institute from 2010 to 2017. They had not submitted warnings for lawsuits and had not given orders for lawsuits.

Merkel: I will do everything I can for a positive decision

Zaev: Decisions on government reshuffle have made, I will submit them on Sunday
Prime Minister Zoran Zaev this afternoon stated that on Sunday afternoon he will submit the proposal for reorganization of the Government to the Parliament. Then, as he said, he will announce the details regarding the names and departments.
“Our country today, tomorrow and on Sunday morning is hosting the Constituency of more than 15 finance ministers, governors, three vice presidents of the World Bank and two vice presidents of the International Monetary Fund. We want to show ourselves in the best light possible and that is the main reason. The decisions have been made and on Sunday afternoon I will submit to the Parliament the materials on all the changes that will take place in the Government”, stated Zaev, answering journalist questions following today’s presentation in the Bureau of Metrology.
Simultaneously, as he highlighted, there will also be a second wave that will include directors and members of management and supervisory boards in public enterprises.
Regarding the changes that are being made in the Social Democratic Union, Zaev informed that it remains for vice presidents of the party to be appointed and around 20 more presidents of municipal organizations of the party.
