The President of the VMRO-DPMNE Union of Youth Forces, Luka Krzalovski, resigned from his position and explained his resignation on his Facebook profile. Krzalovski indicates that he has resigned because he does not want to be part of the court games that are distracting the attention of the party away from the real problems.
Yesterday, the President of the VMRO-DPMNE Union of Women, and MP, Daniela Rangelova resigned, who expressed disagreement with the current party leadership, which was followed by the resignation of the Secretary General of the VMRO-DPMNE Union of Women, and MP, Liljana Zaturoska.
The trial for the events in the Parliament of Republic of Macedonia on April 27 last year, was postponed today due to the absence of the accused Sashko Markovski, who was hospitalized after feeling sick at yesterday’s hearing and an ambulance was called.
The demands of former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski on postponing his prison sentence has arrived in the Criminal Court after the defense had sent it by mail on Monday. Unofficially, the two reasons Gruevski refers to are the obligations he has as an MP, primarily due to the processes in Parliament related to the constitutional changes. The second reason is connected to the doctorate he defended this summer, that is, to write a book based on the doctoral thesis.
