The Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Skopje and the Ministry of Interior (MoI) have continued activities as part of a pre-trial investigation at the Oncology Clinic, informs news agency MIA.
The operation is carried out based on media reports related to the Clinic’s work, the Prosecutor’s Office said in a press release on Saturday.
On Friday, following instructions of the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Skopje and a court order, the police carried out searches at the Oncology Clinic, as well as at two other locations in private apartments in Skopje.
During the search, police have seized computers, computer data and other documentation, which will be subject to analysis and expert examination.
“The searches are carried out so as to provide evidence and investigate possible circumstances of a criminal act,” reads the press release.
