“Ukraine – A Year of Heroism” is the joint title of the big conference that is being held tomorrow, February 24, at the House of ARM, starting at 11.00am, announces CIVIL.

The conference will be attended by President Stevo Pendarovski, Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi, Ambassador of Ukraine Larisa Dir, Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bojan Maricic, Minister of Defense Slavjanka Petrovska, ministers in the Macedonian government, ambassadors and diplomats of several countries from Europe, the United States and Japan, experts, analysts and representatives of civil society.

A total of 26 speakers are anticipated in the rich agenda of the Conference organized by the non-governmental organization for human rights and freedoms, CIVIL – Center for Freedom, and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of North Macedonia.

The program of the event also includes a short film, a photo exhibition and promotion of a book about Ukraine’s heroic struggle.

The date of this big event, February 24, coincides with the beginning of the Russian brutal invasion against Ukraine exactly one year ago.

The exhibition consists of photos by Ukrainian photographer Eduard Kryzhanivsky, whereas the author of the book that is being promoted is the President of CIVIL and Editor-in-Chief of CIVIL Media, Xhabir Deralla.

The event will be broadcast live, on CIVIL’s online channels (Facebook and YouTube).
