Nine Skopje schools were evacuated Thursday over bomb threats, but after anti-terrorist squads inspected the premises and determined they were safe, the Ministry of Interior said the bomb claims had been false, transmits MIA.

The schools had received the threats via email earlier on Thursday.

Previously, on Wednesday, the police evacuated eight other schools in Skopje that reported similar bomb alerts, which also proved to be false.
