The two U.S. Air Force B-52 military aircraft that flew over Skopje earlier on Monday showed the country’s strong unity with NATO allies and the commitment of all member countries to Euro-Atlantic security and stability, the Ministry of Defense said in a press release, transmits MIA.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Jovan Azmanovski from the Army General Staff, North Macedonia’s skies are safe and so are the skies above the country’s allies.
The Defense Ministry said the B-52 bombers entered North Macedonia from Bulgaria near Kriva Palanka, flew over Skopje, and left Macedonian airspace near Debar.
During the day, the US Air Force is also flying over the airspace of Albania, Montenegro and Croatia.
