What I know and what I understand from the security authorities is that there are elements in the country that come from the region. North Macedonia is currently under intensified hybrid attacks similar to the situation we had in 2018, said President Stevo Pendarovski during tonight’s guest appearance on the “Click Plus” show on TV 21, the state agency MIA reported.

Two days ago, there were posts on social media about people in Gostivar and Tetovo in NLA uniforms, and now they are linking it to Osmani’s statement… It has nothing to do with NLA, no one is getting threats,” said President Pendarovski.
Pendarovski said that the Russian Federation is misusing the protests and informed that there are foreigners who have come to cause incidents at the protests.
“Third parties, precisely the Russian Federation, are abusing the fact that citizens are legitimately protesting against the French proposal. We have several people who have come from neighboring countries and are causing incidents at the protests, the President pointed out and added that this information is known by all competent authorities and in cooperation with NATO they are doing everything to prevent it, because they also receive information from there about who has arrived” – revealed Pendarovski in theTV show.
Furthermore, Pendarovski stressed that the protests themselves have some symbols, landmarks, with which, as he said, April 27 is being plotted, but also a revenge for 2001, and added that those ideas and messages are starting to be coded.
“At this time now, when we have brutal Russian aggression in Ukraine, certain political structures are playing on the Russian card and do not take into account the interests of their own country,” said Pendarovski.
The President, in his TV appearance, said, among other things, that the security situation in North Macedonia is tightening.
