The situation in the operational zone “South” is dynamic and tense but controlled by the Ukrainian troops, writes Ukrinform.

“The enemy continues to launch air and missile strikes, open artillery fire, but is not successful in advancing to the west, sets up retreating positions,” the Operational Command “South” posted on Facebook.

In Kryvyi Rih district, Zelenodolsk community came under enemy fire at night. Three cottage houses in Zelenodolsk suburbs were destroyed, one was damaged. According to preliminary information, people were not injured.

Trying to regain the positions lost the day before, the enemy used artillery and mortar weapons in the direction of Ivanivka and Potiomkino, Kherson region, during the night. The invaders had no success.

Explosions and shelling rang out in Beryslav and Kakhovka districts. The occupiers use all possible types of weapons, so more and more houses and social infrastructure objects are destroyed each time.

As the local residents inform, many fires break out in forests and wheat fields due to daily fighting. It is difficult to harvest because of incessant battles.

In the regional center, resistance does not abate. More and more patriotic slogans, images of the Ukrainian flag, and calls for victory appear on the streets.

The enemy continues to shell villages along the contact line in Mykolayiv region. Information on casualties and damages is being clarified.

At dawn, the Russians struck two households, a water tower, and a farm in Shyroke community.

One residential building was destroyed. No casualties were reported.

The enemy attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Ka-52 attack helicopters three times in the area of the administrative border of the regions. There are no losses.

In the middle of the day, the enemy pummeled Mykolayiv and Velyka Kostromka with heavy artillery. In Mykolayiv, seven shells hit a city cemetery, in Velyka Kostromka – the outskirts of the village. No casualties were recorded.

Trying to reconnoiter the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kherson region, the enemy launched an Orlan-10 drone, which was destroyed by a portable anti-aircraft missile system.

Ukrainian units launched air and missile strikes on two enemy ammunition depots in Bashtanka and Snihurivka districts of Mykolayiv region. The elimination of one depot was confirmed, the other results are being investigated.

Over the past day, the enemy’s confirmed losses amounted to 47 soldiers, two self-propelled guns, a Msta-B howitzer, a radar station, a radio reconnaissance station, and three armored vehicles.
