I too think that salaries in the administration should increase. Just as I think that all other salaries should increase. The minimum wage is also really low, a real minimum wage. It too should increase, but under the condition that fees towards the state are reduced.
I advocate for the salaries of administration workers to be raised immediately or within a week and one day at the most. Why one day? Because in an urgent procedure of one week the most, another operation must be conducted, which was supposed to be carried out immediately after the fall of the regime of the criminal from Budapest. What needs to be done?
To reduce the administration by at least 30% immediately, or within one week the most. And for this to be at least 30%, but in a way that will pay attention so that the number of those who really do their job in the sectors of education, health and security does not decrease. On the contrary, their number should increase.
For example, to increase the number of employed educators, teaching and professional staff in kindergartens and primary schools and high schools. And to dismiss those with made up job positions.
To increase the number of nurses, laboratory technicians, doctors, psychiatrists (obviously, they are much needed) and other staff that is necessary for taking care of people’s health. But those “organizing” the health should disappear.
To increase the number of professional staff in the police, fire protection, army and other security structures, including also services (and inspectorates) in charge of combatting corruption and crime. Strengthening internal control in all institutions. They will do much of the job.
Now, for reducing the number of administration workers. It’s easy to see who are the ones who are totally an unnecessary burden on society. The absurd job positions in all institutions and institutes at the local and state level can easily be reduced. Assistants, deputies, clerks, advisors, drivers, photocopiers, couriers, secretaries, economic managers, various other bits and pieces…
To abolish all boards, councils and other excess bodies and structures. To abolish several hundreds of state agencies for which no one knows, and not even they themselves know what their job is. To abolish all deputy positions in all institutions.
To kick out all those who during working hours, by abusing offices, furniture and means of work and communication, function as party trolls and propagandists.
During all this, attention must be paid to equitable representation on ethic, gender and age basis. In order to have a fair distribution of taxpayer’s money.
This perhaps will hurt the most, but is necessary. Parties to give up at least 50% of their budget that they receive from the joint treasury of citizens.
Well, I suggest that social assistance be increased, so that those who will lose their job in the administration don’t suffer too much when they have a sudden fall.
To reduce the number of seats in parliament from 120 to 80. To reduce the number of members of municipal councils.
To reduce the number of municipalities across the country. The system with 35 municipalities functioned quite all right. And even that is too much.
To reduce the number of ministries to 12 departments the most.
STOP THE PRIVILAGES! To abolish all privileges in monetary or material form – vehicles, allowances, bonuses (appanages) presidential pensions (Crvenkovski, Ivanov) … To take away the official vehicles and to give them to the ambulance services, social services, police, army and crisis management. CIVIL raised this initiative on May 14, 2019 and has renewed it several times publically. But apart from statements of support from SDSM MPs and from President Pendarovski, there was only an attempt for plagiarism and abuse by a rashist party and that’s it. Nothing particular has happened after that.

But let’s get back to the increase of salaries in the administration. Yes, but only under the condition it is reduced by at least 30% within a week, that privileges, absurd institutions and institutes are abolished and that the number of professionals who take care of the educational level and people’s health increases.
All this can’t be done? Even though I am maximally convinced that it is possible, if one wants to, I also know that no one has such courage. Therefore, I suggest to the administration workers to get working and not to pick in other people’s pockets. There is no room in bars and restaurants because of administration workers during working hours.
All this is for the good of everyone, especially the administration workers. If they continue with their absurd behavior, the 50 euro increase they are demanding, as Ljubomir Kostovski writes, will not be worth anything in a short time. And no one will be in a situation to pay them that money. The impoverished citizens and the private sector the least.
PS. We’ve had it with you.
