Another two ministers are leaving their posts in the Bulgarian government Monday: Foreign Minister Teodora Genchovska and Energy Minister Alexander Nikolov, reports MIA.
Genchovska and Nikolov have submitted their resignations following the decision of their There is Such a People party to walk out of the ruling coalition.
According to the leader of the party, Slavi Trifonov, the decision to leave was due to Prime Minister Kiril Petkov’s “duplicitous policy toward North Macedonia” and the impoverishment of the country.
In line with the party’s decision, Minister of Sports Radostin Vasilev and Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Grozdan Karadjov have already resigned.
