As of April 13, each individual shopper purchasing sunflower oil will be limited to one bottle. It is recommended to refuse sales of sunflower oil in large quantities, says Economy Minister Kreshnik Bekteshi, informs news agency MIA.
This restriction will be in force until May 31. “Retailers are asked to notify the State Market Inspectorate if a shopper asks to buy larger quantities of sunflower oil during the day,” says the ministry.
The ministry has notified all retailers that the regular supply of the local market is disrupted due to the significant rise in the purchase of sunflower oil by local and and foreign shoppers.
“To maintain the current state of the domestic market with sunflower oil in shops and avoid an unnecessary lack of cooking oil, the shopping limit will last until May 31st 2022,” said the ministry.
