President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani. in an interview for Times Radio expressed her support and solidarity with the people of Ukraine, as well as full support for the sovereignty and the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

“We strongly believe that what’s going on is a flagrant abuse of power and violation of international law and practices by Russia. Both physically in terms of military build-up around the border, as well as digitally with systematic spreading of disinformation. The truth is that Ukraine is a free and an independent country and it should belong to the free and democratic people of Ukraine to make decisions on their future, whether it is related to security or other issues. That is why we believe that these events are not only about Ukraine, but are about the kind of world we want to live in  and the kind of democracies we want to build”, said Osmani.

According to her, NATO should play an active role in these events and hopes that a solution to this will be found soon.
