Spasovski and Shahpaska on New Year’s Eve socializing with protégés from the Public Institution for Child Care “25 May”

Protégés from the small group homes at the Public Institution for care of children with educational and social problems and disordered behavior “25 May” – Skopje, today before the New Year met with the Ministers of Interior and Labor and Social Policy, Oliver Spasovski and Jagoda Shahpaska, as well as representatives of the Special Police Operations Department (OSPO).

According to the Ministry of Interior, the children had the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of the units for special tasks, rapid deployment and training and support, to talk to police officers about their work day and to have lunch with them. in the canteen in the Police Center “Gjorce Petrov”.

According to the statement, Minister Spasovski on behalf of the Ministry of Interior donated two inverter air conditioners that will be installed in the facilities where they need them most, and from the Department for Special Police Operations, 25 children present at the Police Center received and Christmas packages, which consist of food items provided personally by members of the three units – for special tasks, for quick deployment, and for training and support.

Welcoming the children and all those present at the Police Center “Gjorce Petrov”, Minister Spasovski thanked the members of the special forces of the Ministry of Interior who this year allocated funds from their own budget to continue the already established tradition and make these children happy. they feel mutual care, to feel that each one is important.

– It is very important for me that the police show a humane action, a humane dimension. If we want to build serious trust with our citizens, if we want to be close to the citizens, and we know that we are obliged to respect the interests of the citizens, then it is important to show the humane side of police officers, said Spasovski.

Minister Spasovski reminded that this year was difficult and full of challenges brought by the pandemic, because again everyone’s attention was focused on preserving health and that care for their own and the health of loved ones must continue in the New Year.

– We are here to be a support for each and every one of you! Whenever you need anything in life, the Ministry of Interior will be here to lend a hand, to support you, to help you move forward, to achieve your goals and interests, the Minister said to the youngest, congratulating them on the New Year.

Minister паahpaska expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Interior and the representatives of the Department for Special Police Operations who this year allocated their funds and made the children from small group homes at the Public Institution for Care of Children with Educational and Social Disorders – Skopje with gifts.

– I am really glad that the tradition of New Year’s Eve socializing of children from small group homes with members of the Ministry of Interior, ie the Department for Special Police Operations continues. “This is a great opportunity for the children to get acquainted with the work of the special units, to talk to them and to satisfy their curiosity,” Shahpaska said.

In addition, she emphasized the uniqueness of the members of the special units, as guards of our security. Shahpaska also wished all those present good health, happiness and success in the New Year.
