The Government will submit to the Parliament of the Republic of Northern Macedonia a Draft-Decision for extension of the deadline for existence of a crisis situation in the electricity supply in the next six months, ie until June 9, 2022.
At today’s 123rd session of the Government, which was held via internet communication, the text of the Draft-Decision for approving the extension of the deadline for existence of a crisis in the electricity supply on the entire territory of the Republic of Northern Macedonia was determined, due to lack of electricity and electricity market conditions.
– The proposal for extension of the crisis period aims to ensure continuity in the implementation of measures and activities to overcome the situation in the electricity supply, according to a statement from the government’s Public Relations Department.
