CIVIL is organizing a panel discussion on the topic: “Multiculturalism and European values in the media” on May 20 (Thursday), at the City Park Hotel (opposite the Fountain in City Park), starting at 1 p.m.
Participants in the panel will be Elida Zulbeari, editor of Portalb, Dragan Antonovski, director and editor-in-chief of MIA and Filjana Koka, vice president of AJM and journalist at MRT. The event will be moderated by Dehran Muratov, CIVIL.
What challenges does the media face? What is the role of the media in promoting European values and multiculturalism in our country ?, are some of the questions that will be asked at the panel discussion.
In accordance with Covid-19 protection protocols, the panel will be held without an audience, and we will enable panelists to attend physically and online. The event will last 60 minutes.
The event will be broadcast live on the video channel and the Facebook page of CIVIL, and the contents that will emerge from the event will be published on CIVIL MEDIA, the media platform of the organization, in Macedonian, Albanian and English. Television crews are welcome, requesting strict adherence to Covid-19 protection protocols.
The panel is part of the project “European Perspectives” which CIVIL is implementing with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany from April 1 this year.
