Based on the latest Ministry of Health reports, the Coordination Crisis Headquarters has proposed to the Government to shorten the curfew, allowing restaurants, bars and coffeehouses with outdoor seating to work until 11:30 pm and fitness centers to reopen.
As part of the relaxed restrictions proposed for May 12-18, the curfew should be in place from midnight to 5 am.
If the proposal is adopted, health care workers will be allowed to take days off work. Also, day care centers and preschools will be allowed to increase the number of children in a class from 15 to 20.
Events are to be held in line with public health protection protocols, with audiences limited to 30 percent of the venue’s capacity.
The Government is expected to adopt the relaxed restrictions at its session on Tuesday.
