The government is planning to raise awareness of the need for COVID-19 vaccination via campaigns, Minister of Health Venko Filipche said on Wednesday, adding that some 140,000 citizens have already applied for inoculation online.
The Minister expects people to show more interest in vaccination once new batches of jabs are delivered to North Macedonia.
“We’re planning on launching campaigns. I once again call on citizens to apply for inoculation at the vakcinacija.mk website. The system will be upgraded in the next few days, allowing applicants to receive information regarding their vaccination appointment via text message,” Filipche said.
He added that citizens are aware of the need for vaccination, noting that awareness is set to further increase.
“The more information is available on vaccines that arrive in North Macedonia, the more citizens will show interest in vaccination,” the Minister stressed.
