The Government accepted at Tuesday’s session a proposal of the Ministry of Health over the need to dispatch Army members as hospital security in addition to the police.
A decision was reached to seek consent from the President and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Stevo Pendarovski.
The head of state at last week’s session of the National Security Council voiced readiness to make Army members available as logistic support in the fight against the pandemic.
